The state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy" recently signed a framework agreement with the well-known pharmaceutical manufacturer "Biovit". According to information from "Kyrgyzpharmacy", the main goal of this agreement is to establish long-term partnerships and strengthen drug safety in the country.
As part of the agreement, there is an intention to conclude long-term contracts for the supply of medicines produced in Kyrgyzstan.
The company "Biovit", founded in 2002, has established itself as one of the leading players in the country's pharmaceutical market. It not only increases production capacities but also expands its product range, which includes medicines and dietary supplements. The company's production processes comply with modern standards, including international GMP norms, as well as laboratory quality accreditation according to ISO 17025. "Biovit" actively exports its products, thereby making a significant contribution to saturating the domestic market.
According to the signed agreement, both parties will determine a list of priority medicines to be supplied under long-term contracts. Special attention will be paid to essential and socially significant drugs.
The director of the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy", Talant Sultanov, noted that cooperation with local manufacturers is of great importance. "The development of domestic production is not only an economic task but also an aspect of national security and accessibility of medical care. By signing agreements with companies like 'Biovit', we create conditions for stable supply to medical institutions and reduce the financial burden on the healthcare system," he noted.
As part of the preparations for implementing the agreement, the parties plan to agree on the volumes, timelines, and conditions of supply. The first deliveries under the long-term contract are expected in the first quarter of 2026. Opportunities for expanding the partnership are also being considered, including contract manufacturing at the request of the state and the introduction of new drugs adapted to the needs of clinical practice in Kyrgyzstan.
