Tajikistan plans to purchase 14 Boeing aircraft along with aviation support systems for a total of $3.2 billion. The agreement was signed between the airline "Somon Air" and Boeing. The State Department noted that this deal will enhance trust in American aerospace technologies. "Somon Air" specified that this involves the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 737 MAX.
Mineral Resource Development
Tajikistan also signed a contract with the American organization Transparent Earth for $32.5 million. This document includes technical assistance and the use of remote sensing technologies to improve efficiency in the mining and agricultural sectors of the country.
Digital Transformation
To expand its digital infrastructure, Tajikistan has entered into partnership agreements with Starlink, which will provide reliable communication even in remote regions.
Artificial Intelligence
The agreement between Perplexity AI and the Tajik company zypl.ai involves the implementation of the world's first AI-based agent browser, tailored for the needs of government institutions, which will significantly enhance Tajikistan's innovative potential.
Infrastructure and Energy
Companies SuperMicro, Cerebris, and zypl.ai will work on developing infrastructure for AI-based data centers in Tajikistan. An important part of the project will be the republic's commitment to build 1 GW of hydropower, which will serve as the foundation for creating a regional high-tech center.
Investments in Industry
Coca-Cola announced plans to invest $9 million in expanding its plant in Dushanbe, which will increase production volumes and strengthen the presence of American goods in the Tajik market.
On November 6, U.S. President Donald Trump and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon held bilateral talks in Washington, where they confirmed their intention to continue cooperation in strategically important minerals, digital technologies, and the modernization of the aviation sector.
During the discussions, emphasis was placed on strengthening trade and economic ties and investment cooperation between Tajikistan and the U.S., with over 70 companies involving American investments already operating in Tajikistan.
