Kanybek Dosmambetov, acting Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, held a meeting with the heads of private medical institutions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

During the meeting, topics related to the development of private healthcare were raised, including proposals for its improvement, as well as initiatives to enhance the quality and accessibility of medical services.

The Minister emphasized that the development of private clinics is a key direction that contributes to the expansion of medical services for citizens and reduces their dependence on treatment abroad.

“The private sector is not a replacement for the public system, but an important complement to it. We strive to create conditions so that quality medical services are available in the country without the need to go abroad,” noted Dosmambetov.

The meeting also focused on creating a comfortable environment for the operation of private clinics, implementing new medical technologies, and improving the qualifications of medical personnel.

At the end of the meeting, the participants agreed to continue constructive dialogue and joint efforts to develop proposals for the sustainable development of the private healthcare sector in the country.

Previously, the Ministry of Health of the republic suspended the operations of 263 private clinics due to serious violations.
