During his working visit to Osh State University, Acting Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov met with teachers and students of the medical faculty.

He noted that his visit is aimed not only at familiarizing himself with the clinic's operations but also at engaging in an important dialogue with future doctors, where their expectations, plans, and the problems faced by the healthcare system are discussed.

Kanibek Dosmambetov emphasized that significant changes are currently taking place in the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan, initiated at the highest level. President Sadyr Japarov has highlighted the need for modernization from management and financing to the training of medical personnel.

The acting minister pointed out pressing issues such as staff shortages, low salaries, and corruption risks that have negatively impacted the development of the system in the past.
He stressed the importance of fair compensation for healthcare workers and creating conditions that facilitate the attraction and development of young specialists in the country.

Addressing the students, Kanibek Dosmambetov emphasized their significance for the future of medicine in Kyrgyzstan.

“You will be the ones who will treat our citizens and shape the healthcare system of the future. The state will create conditions for you—by increasing salaries, improving housing conditions, supporting young specialists, and developing modern medical infrastructure. We are counting on you and believe that you will connect your future with medicine and your country,” the minister's words are quoted by the press center of the ministry.

In conclusion, the acting minister urged students to remain committed to their profession, actively develop, and participate in reforms aimed at strengthening the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan.
