The hospital director, Atabek Jumaliev, informed him about the major repairs and initiatives aimed at improving the conditions for providing medical services to the residents of the region.
During the visit, Kanibek Dosmambetov inspected the departments of emergency cardiology and X-ray endovascular surgery, paying attention to the condition of the existing equipment.
During the visit, the management of OMOKB reported that the computed tomography scanner had broken down due to worn-out parts. The Ministry of Health allocated 13.5 million soms for its repair, conducted a tender, and selected a contractor. All necessary components have already been delivered, and specialists are currently engaged in installation. The equipment is expected to be put into operation by the end of December 2025.
Additionally, Kanibek Dosmambetov learned about the construction process of the perinatal center, for which funding was provided by the German Development Bank KfW. He instructed to monitor the quality and timelines of the work.
The management of OMOKB also raised several problematic issues, including medication supply through the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy" and the maintenance of medical equipment.
The Acting Minister assured that the Ministry of Health would assist in resolving these issues.
During the visit, special attention was given to staffing issues. Kanibek Dosmambetov emphasized the importance of expanding training programs and improving the qualifications of medical workers, including abroad, as well as the implementation of modern diagnostic and treatment methods.
