According to information provided by the Ministry of Health, the meeting discussed aspects concerning the uninterrupted supply of vital medications to the country. Participants emphasized the importance of eliminating bureaucratic barriers and accelerating the registration process for drugs included in the list of essential medicines.
Kanibek Dosmambetov instructed the development of a unified electronic database within two months, which will contain up-to-date information on the availability of medications and the needs of the healthcare system in the republic.
In order to prevent a shortage of medications at the beginning of 2026, and considering the limited capabilities of the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia" to ensure uninterrupted supplies, the issue of granting medical organizations the authority to conduct tenders and independently procure necessary medications was discussed.
Additionally, a decision was made to hold working meetings with representatives of the private pharmaceutical sector to develop comprehensive and sustainable solutions in the field of medication supply.
