During his visit, Dosmambetov familiarized himself with the working conditions of the department, including the laboratory service and the medication supply system. He also held a meeting with parents whose children are receiving treatment.
During the conversation, parents shared issues related to the quality and availability of certain medications, as well as delays in their deliveries, which is a critical aspect in the treatment of pediatric oncology. Additionally, difficulties with conducting tests were discussed, which often leads families to turn to private laboratories.
The minister paid special attention to the issues of blood component supply and logistics. He instructed to allocate specialized transport for the guaranteed delivery of necessary materials and blood components.
Dosmambetov emphasized that any disruptions and deficiencies in the process of purchasing medications are unacceptable. In this regard, he announced the establishment of a commission that will conduct an audit of the activities of the Department of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, as well as the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy." The commission will analyze the procurement and supply procedures for medications and prepare recommendations to improve their transparency and efficiency.
As a result of the visit, instructions were given to optimize the work of laboratories, enhance the quality control of medications, improve procurement processes, and create a pharmacy point within the department itself. Issues regarding the living conditions for parents and their nutrition were also raised.
Furthermore, it became known that, at the initiative of the president, the possibility of constructing a shelter for the temporary accommodation of parents of children suffering from oncological diseases from the regions is being considered.
