Jumamidin Su laymankulov, head of the organizational and inspection work department and local self-government of the Osh mayor's office, emphasized that for the successful division of the city and the appointment of new akims, it is important to clearly define their functional responsibilities.
The deputy noted that he had previously approached the mayor with this idea and suggested discussing this issue with Su laymankulov together with the mayor in order to bring it to official consideration.
Since the beginning of this year, Abdyrahman uulu has been actively advocating for the division of Osh into two parts — along the right and left banks of the Ak-Buura River, with the aim of creating two new districts and appointing two akims with corresponding powers.
