The anniversary event took place in the large conference hall of the city hall, where the deputy mayor Kubanychbek Imanaliev, the director of the information center Kabylbek Kochkonbay uulu, as well as heads of local institutions and media were present.
The establishment of the Information Center has its roots in 2015. That year, by the decision of the city council of Jalal-Abad and the decree of the city hall, the "Information Center" was founded based on the editorial office of the newspaper "Jalal-Abad ünu". On November 20, the center was registered with the justice department and received the status of an independent legal entity.
Since its inception, the Information Center has been headed by three directors, and currently, it employs 8 staff members.
