The upgrade of the system was made possible thanks to successful negotiations conducted by the speaker of the city council of Shopokov, Adylbek Bekbolotov, and the deputies with charitable foundations.
At the initiative of Mayor Radju Noruzbaev, after the completion of the water supply works, the mayor's office also carried out the filling of streets with gravel and the installation of a new sidewalk.
The opening ceremony attracted the attention of both city residents and representatives of charitable organizations who participated in the event.
The previously functioning water supply system in this residential area was heavily worn out and had numerous leaks. Last year, a new pump was installed on the water tower to improve the water supply. About 200 families live in this area.
