In his childhood, he associated the holiday with simple things: postcards and paper tulips that children made for their mothers. Over time, he realized the importance of women's roles in the life of every person and in society.
“For me, March 8 is primarily a family holiday. A woman is the foundation of the family and a source of warmth, patience, and inner strength, which is often unnoticed, but on which both the home and society rely,” the speaker noted.
According to him, it is women who make life around more humane through their emotions, kindness, and wisdom.
“I always try to be close to my loved ones on this day. I definitely congratulate my wife and daughters. The morning usually starts with flowers — this has already become our little tradition. Sometimes we prepare a home-cooked dinner, and sometimes we just gather together, share memories, and laugh. The most valuable thing is the time spent together,” he added.
From the bottom of his heart, Mamataliyev congratulates all the women of Kyrgyzstan on International Women's Day, wishing them well-being and warmth in their homes and among their loved ones. “Smile more often, because your smiles bring good mood and hope for a calm and just tomorrow to our world,” he emphasizes.

Daniyar Amangeldiev, First Deputy Prime Minister, also noted that in his family it is customary to celebrate this holiday at his mother's house. “We traditionally gather at mom's place. I will give my wife a bouquet of spring flowers,” he reported.

Temir Sariyev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, believes that March 8 is a day of attention and care. “As always, we give our loved ones tenderness, care, and of course, flowers, and also set up a modest festive table,” he noted.

Almambet Shykmamatov, Head of the State Tax Service, also emphasized the important role of women in people's lives. He noted that over time, one comes to understand women's wisdom and patience, as well as their ability to maintain harmony in families and society. He prefers not to set strict rules for the celebration and leaves the choice to his loved ones.

Edil Baisalov, Deputy Prime Minister, reminded that the holiday has historical significance. International Women's Day is not only an occasion to congratulate women but also a day to remember those who fought for equal rights. “The struggle for equality is still ongoing. Male chauvinism, as in other countries, still exists. Therefore, March 8 is not only a holiday but also an opportunity to talk about real equality and opportunities for women,” he said.

Bolot Ibraimov, Vice-Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, also shared his plans for the holiday. “I will spend March 8 with my family, visiting my parents. We will celebrate this day quietly and homely, in a small circle. There will definitely be tulips, a festive cake, and the most sincere wishes for our women,” he shared.

Dastan Bekeshev, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, believes that the most important gift for women is not flowers, but respectful treatment. “Yes, I will also give gifts to my wife, but men should remember that the most important thing is respect and equality, which should always be present,” the parliamentarian emphasized.
Many respondents noted that for them, the main symbols of this day remain flowers, attention, and time spent with loved ones. Politicians emphasize that on this day they strive primarily to spend time with their close ones.
