In the Aravan district, the agricultural enterprise "Birlik" has begun planting potatoes using the latest technologies. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the ministry, the new equipment allows for five operations to be performed simultaneously, significantly easing the workload for farmers and ensuring efficient fieldwork.
Key features of this equipment include:
- the use of herbicides to combat weeds, which improves crop quality;
- the ability to plant potatoes at a distance of 90 cm and in several rows simultaneously, which increases overall work efficiency;
- the installation of drip irrigation to conserve water resources;
- the distribution of fertilizers through a special device, which enhances soil fertility;
- the use of polyethylene film to protect the soil and retain moisture.
The ministry noted that if the new equipment proves effective, these technologies will be recommended to other farmers next year.
It is also emphasized that the enterprise "Birlik" is focused on developing agricultural production, implementing modern technologies, and simplifying the work of local farmers, which should enhance the efficiency of the country's agricultural sector.
