Many businessmen who have faced the loss of property are afraid to speak openly about their problems.
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, attended by the president, deputy Elvira Surabaldiyeva drew attention to numerous violations committed by the GKNB.
She emphasized that among entrepreneurs who have lost their property, there is a fear of public condemnation.
According to her, some citizens have become victims of the actions of security service employees who confiscated their property.
"There are also cases of dismissal of certain individuals. When I urge entrepreneurs to openly write about their problems, they respond that the relatives of those who robbed them work in the prosecutor's office and the president's administration," she added.
In addition, Surabaldiyeva demanded that the GKNB publish a complete list of property returned to the state, indicating how much of it was returned voluntarily and how much was returned forcibly.
President Sadyr Japarov noted that entrepreneurs who in the past may have become victims of unjustified criminal prosecution and lost their property or business can now submit applications to the prosecutor's office for the review of their cases.
He reported that many such appeals are already being received, and each of them will be thoroughly examined.
"If it turns out that the property or business was seized illegally, they must be returned to their rightful owners," the president emphasized.
