In Kyrgyzstan, the transition of former politicians and EEC employees to public service will be simplified

Now they will be able to hold administrative positions without the need for a competitive selection process

A draft law has been initiated in Kyrgyzstan, which proposes changes in the field of state civil and municipal service. This document aims to simplify the process of transitioning to administrative positions for those who previously worked in the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as for former state and municipal officials who held political positions. The draft law has already passed its third reading in the Jogorku Kenesh.

The development of the law was carried out by the State Agency for Public Service and Local Self-Government at the request of the presidential administration.

According to the new provisions, citizens of Kyrgyzstan with more than two years of work experience in the Eurasian Economic Commission will be granted the right to hold administrative positions without a competitive selection process. These professionals, it is noted, undergo a preliminary national selection before being sent to the commission and possess international experience.

In addition, the draft law proposes to simplify the conditions for former political officials and leaders whose powers have ended, to transition to administrative positions.

The authors of the initiative are confident that such changes will allow for the effective use of the management and international experience of these specialists in public service.
