The studio was installed on the southern side of Ala-Too Square in November 2025 with the aim of conducting live broadcasts and interviews. Representatives of the TV channel emphasized that the structure is temporary and can be easily removed.
However, in the first days after its installation, the studio sparked negative reactions from residents. On social media, it was compared to a commercial pavilion, criticizing both its appearance and the very fact of its installation in the main square of the country without broad public discussion.
In January 2026, the city administration decided to dismantle the studio, explaining this by the expiration of the lease term for the land plot provided on a temporary basis.
Despite this, the project is not finished. According to reports from the media circle, the mobile studio is now set to be installed near the Russian Drama Theater. This again raises questions among residents and urbanists regarding the acceptability of such structures in the historical center of the capital.
