At the direction of President Sadyr Japarov, the Deputy Prime Minister and head of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev, conducted an inspection of construction work on Chuy Avenue in Bishkek.
The state committee reported that social media was actively discussing projects for the construction of shopping centers, parking lots, and public transport stops near the "Aichurek" Central Department Store and the "Chynar" State Department Store.
In this regard, after familiarizing himself with the situation on the ground, the chairman of the State National Security Committee immediately ordered the demolition of structures and stops that narrow the roadway.
Kamchybek Tashiev also instructed the Ministry of Construction, the city hall, and other responsible structures to promptly restore the road surface, which is of great importance for the traffic flow in the capital, as well as to create comfortable conditions for residents.
The management of the construction company has committed to restore the road and improve the infrastructure, promising to complete the work in the shortest possible time.
It should be noted that an important infrastructure project—the underground complex Old Bishkek—is ongoing in the center of Bishkek. As of the end of October, about 80% of all construction work had been completed. As a result, the section of the road was closed for a period of 7 to 8 months.
