
During the activities aimed at combating corruption and organized crime, it has been possible to return 300 billion soms to the state treasury over the past five years. This was stated by Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the opening of a new building for the Ton District Department of the special services.
According to him, the current budget of the country is 700 billion soms, with a significant portion of these funds obtained through successful efforts against corrupt schemes.
“These funds are used for large-scale construction throughout the republic. They are used to build roads, kindergartens, schools, stadiums, and hospitals,” Tashiev noted.
