From March 18 to 27, an educational program titled "Invisible Heroes" will be implemented in the Chui and Jalal-Abad regions. This initiative includes a series of interactive tasks that culminate in the creation of a creative "dossier" on the staff of the school cafeteria.
The main venues for the Healthy Eating Week will be:
- Baitik Kanai uulu School (Alamedin District);
- General Education School No. 9 named after Sanatbaev (Manas City).
For two weeks, 4th-grade students, along with mentors from higher grades, will gain knowledge through game tasks, team activities, and physical exercises. At the end of each session, each student will receive a brochure titled "Cognitive Games about Healthy Eating," which they can complete at home with their parents.
"Younger students will become real 'agents' gathering information about the 'invisible heroes' of school nutrition, creating 'photo robots' — portraits of cooks and kitchen staff made in various techniques of decorative applied art. As a result of participating in this 'investigation,' children will be able to appreciate the work of those who prepare food at school in a new way," the message notes.
The organizers of the event have set an important task — to change children's perceptions of school meals and to cultivate gratitude towards cafeteria workers, whose labor often remains in the shadows.
The concluding stage of the Healthy Eating Week will be a festival in the format of an exciting quest, organized by high school students. At the final event, students will present their creative works and the results of their "investigations," receive the title of "Health Keeper," and also present chefs with thank-you cards and hand-made portraits.
The goal of the Healthy Eating Week is not only to raise the prestige of the cooking profession but also to instill respect for food culture and those who prepare it in the younger generation.
