The deputy proposes to shorten the terms for inheritance acceptance.

At the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development, held on March 16, Bekeshev reminded that according to current legislation, heirs must wait six months after the death of the testator before they can enter into their inheritance rights.

He pointed out the problem that during this period, the property remains inactive, and even the sole heir has to wait for six months.

In response to Bekeshev's remarks, Deputy Minister of Justice Almazbek Zarylbek uulu explained that this practice was implemented to prevent negative consequences.

According to him, "sometimes the legal heir of the first category is abroad, and to eliminate possible risks, a six-month period was established."
