The warning is related to the deterioration of the situation at the border and an increase in military actions
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan strongly recommends that its citizens temporarily refrain from traveling to Afghanistan and Pakistan due to the worsening situation at the border between these countries.
The ministry emphasizes that the current tension is accompanied by an intensification of military actions. At the same time, air traffic in Pakistan is functioning normally, and the airspace remains open for flights. Kyrgyz citizens can leave the country if necessary, while taking precautions.
Citizens located in the specified countries are advised to be particularly vigilant, avoid crowded places and potentially dangerous areas, and follow the instructions of local authorities.
Additionally, it is recommended to always carry identification and contact information for diplomatic missions, as well as to keep up with current news.
In case of emergencies, Kyrgyz citizens can contact the embassies in Islamabad (+92 333 5556343; +92 333 5209903) and Kabul (+93 77 909 93 26; WhatsApp: +93 77 654 45 04), as well as the 24-hour consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at (+996 999 312 002, email: The email address is protected from spambots.
