The prohibited types of activities include the production of baby food, education, legal and accounting services, as well as work in the financial sector, security services, and courier services, among others.
Employers have been given three months to adapt their workforce to the new requirements.
It should be noted that these restrictions apply exclusively to foreign citizens working under a patent. They do not apply to those who have a residence permit, work permit, or temporary registration, as well as to citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union countries.
Regional authorities explained that this decision was made based on an analysis of the situation and taking into account the practices of other Russian regions. The main objective is to balance the labor market and improve order in the employment sector.
