The opening ceremony was attended by Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, the chairman of GKNB and a lieutenant general.
The establishment of this center is driven by modern challenges and aims to strengthen the country's cybersecurity as well as protect its digital infrastructure.
The GKNB noted that the center will become an important link in ensuring Kyrgyzstan's digital sovereignty and supporting the sustainable development of the digital economy.
The main tasks of the new institution include:
- developing and implementing software and hardware solutions for government authorities;
- monitoring cyber threats and responding to them promptly;
- creating technologies for the protection of both state and private data;
- coordinating the work of various agencies and training qualified IT specialists.
The center's building is equipped with modern servers and analytical systems, which will allow for effective combat against cyberattacks and ensure the stable operation of critically important digital services.
The event was attended by the leadership and veterans of GKNB, as well as representatives of relevant government agencies.
The agency emphasized that the opening of the center confirms the state's priority in creating a secure digital environment for citizens, the business sector, and government structures.
