A Center for Information Security was opened in Kyrgyzstan
The opening of a new administrative building for the Center for Information Security, established under the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), took place in Bishkek. This was reported by representatives of the agency.

The opening ceremony was attended by Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, the chairman of GKNB and a lieutenant general.

The establishment of this center is driven by modern challenges and aims to strengthen the country's cybersecurity as well as protect its digital infrastructure.

The GKNB noted that the center will become an important link in ensuring Kyrgyzstan's digital sovereignty and supporting the sustainable development of the digital economy.
