This decision is related to the completion of the autumn-winter period of 2025–2026.
In Osh, the heating season ended on March 23, while in Bishkek, heating will be turned off on March 25.
The Ministry of Energy clarifies that temporary power restrictions were introduced due to the low water level in the Toktogul Reservoir, as well as to ensure reliable electricity supply for all users. In particular, restrictions were in effect during morning hours from 06:00 to 09:00 and evening hours from 18:00 to 22:00.
As a result:
- for single-phase consumers, the power was reduced from 5 kW to 3 kW;
- for three-phase consumers, the power was reduced from 8 kW to 5 kW.
