Emilbek Baltagulov appointed director of the Jalal-Abad Philharmonic
The Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy announced that Emilbek Baltagulov has been appointed as the director of the Jalal-Abad Regional Philharmonic named after T. Tynibekov.

This position officially took effect on March 25, 2026, with the contract including a three-month probationary period.

Emilbek Baltagulov was born on September 28, 1981, in the Chatkal district of the Jalal-Abad region. In 2004, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Arts at Osh State University.

Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including teacher, artistic director, and performer, and has also served as the deputy director of the Jalal-Abad Regional Philharmonic. Additionally, he headed the Jalal-Abad College of Culture and the Kyrgyz Drama Theater named after Barpy. Previously, Baltagulov had already acted as the director of this philharmonic.

He has been a laureate of several international and national competitions and has been awarded a Certificate of Honor from the ministry and the badge "Excellence in Culture."
