The Kara-Balta city administration issued an official statement in response to these events. A representative of the municipality explained that the building originally belonged to the city, but on September 5, 2025, it was transferred to state ownership.
“On March 9, 2026, a contract was signed with a new tenant. Several organizations are located in this building, and after the change of ownership, all of them, except for the 'Bilim' school, were able to sign new lease agreements,” the city administration noted.
