A two-month beautification campaign is underway in the capital
A group from the Bishkek City Hall, led by Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, actively participated in a citywide cleanup day that took place on Isanova Street, at the intersection with BChK. This was reported by the press service of the city hall.
As part of the event, municipal employees carried out sanitation work in the area, removing dried plants and trimming trees.
In addition, the mayor conducted a walk around the neighborhood, where he spoke with local residents about the need to adhere to parking regulations in green areas. As a result, an evacuation was called to address violations.
It is worth noting that in Bishkek, from March 14 to May 16, 2026, a month-long beautification campaign is taking place, which includes activities for sanitation and landscaping. These actions are aimed at improving the ecological situation and creating comfortable conditions for residents and guests of the capital.
The city hall calls on all residents, as well as enterprises and organizations, regardless of their form of ownership, to participate in the initiative and help maintain order in their assigned and neighboring areas.
