In January 2022, Alykulov signed a contract with the Moscow club "Torpedo," where he played in the First League of Russia until the winter transfer window of 2026. He then moved to "Dinamo-Minsk." According to available information, the agreement with the new club will be valid until the end of 2026.
It should be noted that Gulzhigit Alykulov already has experience participating in the Belarusian championship. In the 2023–2024 seasons, he played for "Neman" from Grodno, with which he became a silver medalist of the championship and the holder of the national cup. In 2024, he was recognized as the best player of the club.
Since 2019, Alykulov has consistently represented the national team of Kyrgyzstan, with 47 matches and 6 goals to his name.
According to the German portal Transfermarkt, at the beginning of 2025, Gulzhigit Alykulov's value was estimated at 800 thousand euros, making him one of the most expensive players of "Torpedo." By the beginning of 2026, his transfer value was around 450 thousand euros.

Gulzhigit Alykulov was born on November 25, 2000, in Toktogul (Kyrgyzstan) and began playing football at the "Dordoi" club academy in Bishkek. He also played for the youth teams of "Antalyaspor-m" in Turkey, and later played for "Kara-Balta" and "Alga" in his home championship. He later signed a contract with the Kazakh club "Kairat," with which he became the champion of Kazakhstan in 2020 and the holder of the national cup in 2021.
