A number of significant international events are planned for this year, including the Asian Wrestling Championship and the Central Asian Sailing Championship, which will take place on the picturesque Issyk-Kul Lake. The next World Nomad Games are also expected.
This news was announced at a meeting of the board of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, where Edil Baisalov, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, delivered a report.
During the meeting, instructions were given to expedite the establishment of the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation," enhance safety at mass competitions, and activate the processes of digitalization in the sports sector. Additionally, the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports was tasked with reviewing its programs and improving the training of specialists in new sports disciplines.
