In 2025-2026, three more clubs qualified for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

The French club PSG, the reigning champion of the tournament, once again defeated London’s Chelsea, this time in an away match, finishing the game with the same three-goal advantage. The overall result of the two matches is 8:2 in favor of the Parisians.

In the next round, PSG will face the team that comes out of the pairing Liverpool - Galatasaray, where the first match ended with a score of 0:1.

Real Madrid also confidently advanced, winning against Manchester City at their home stadium with a score of 3:0 and then confirming their superiority in the away game. In the 20th minute, City captain Bernardo Silva was sent off for a handball, allowing Vinicius to take a penalty and open the scoring.

Although Erling Haaland managed to equalize in the first half, Vinicius scored again at the end of the match, securing victory for his team — 2:1.

Now Real is preparing to meet the winner of the pairing Bayern - Atalanta, where the first match recorded a result of 6:1.

London’s Arsenal, having won the group stage of the tournament, also advanced to the quarter-finals. At their home stadium, they defeated Bayer 2:0, after the first match in Germany ended in a 1:1 draw.

In the quarter-finals, Arsenal will battle Sporting, who made an impressive comeback in their Round of 16 match, coming back from 0:3 against Bodo/Glimt.
