Kazakhstan's "Kairat" and "Semey" reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League

Kazakhstan teams "Kairat" and "Semey" have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League, becoming part of the eight strongest clubs in Europe.

Yesterday, "Kairat" played their second match of the Round of 16 against the Belgian "Anderlecht," winning with a score of 5:3. Thus, the overall result of the two matches was 12:6 in favor of the Kazakhs.

Next on "Kairat's" path could be the Spanish team "Cartagena."

The club "Semey" faced the Polish "Piast." Despite a rocky start, when the opponents scored two goals, the Kazakhs managed to turn the game around and finished the match with a score of 5:3. The overall score from the two matches was 8:6 in their favor.

In the next round, "Semey" will meet the French team "Etoile."

The quarter-final matches will take place in February and March and will consist of two games. The winners will have the chance to play in the "Final Four," scheduled for May.
