The Kyrgyzstan national football team lost in a friendly match against the team of Equatorial Guinea.

The game, which took place on March 25 at the "Mardan" stadium in Antalya (Turkey), was the first for the new head coach Robert Prosinečki from Croatia.

At the beginning of the match, the Kyrgyz players showed activity in attack but failed to capitalize on their opportunities. Arlen Beksulov was unable to finish an attack from a favorable position, and Kairat Zhyrgalbek uulu could not outplay the opposing goalkeeper, who successfully saved his shot to the near corner.

By the 38th minute, defender Said Datsiev made a mistake, allowing the opponent's forward to outmaneuver him in the penalty area, after which he brought him down. The referee awarded a penalty, which the fouled player confidently converted — 1:0.

In the second half of the match, the Kyrgyzstan team continued to search for ways to score, but they could not avoid defeat. In the 65th minute, team captain Valery Kichin shot from close range, but the ball went over the goal.

As a result, the match ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the African team.

On March 28, the Kyrgyz team will meet Madagascar in Turkey.
