The Italian Supercup this year was contested between the finalists of Serie A and the Coppa Italia from the previous season, and "Napoli" managed to secure victory, defeating "Bologna" in the final with a score of 2:0.

The standout player of the match was David Neres, who scored both goals. He netted the first goal in the 39th minute, hitting the far corner of the net from about 25 meters with a spectacular left-footed shot, leaving Bologna's goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia with no chance. In the second half, Neres took advantage of a mistake by the goalkeeper, intercepted a pass, dribbled past defender John Lucumi, and delicately lobbed the ball over the advancing goalkeeper.

This match marked the second time Neres scored a brace for "Napoli" since his transfer from "Benfica" in August 2024.

For "Napoli," this victory was the third in the club's history in the Italian Supercup, with previous wins in 1990 and 2014. Currently, the team under the management of Antonio Conte is showing good form, having secured seven victories in their last nine matches. In the Serie A standings, "Napoli" is in third place, just one point behind "Milan" and two points behind the leading "Inter."
