On December 1, the premiere of the play "Katkeldi" took place at the Bakeyen Kydykeeva Young Spectator Theater, prepared by third-year students of the Theater Faculty of the Kyrgyz National University of Culture and Arts named after B. Beishenaliev.

High-ranking guests attended the event, including the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev, the First Deputy Minister Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov, as well as the Rector of the National University of Culture and Arts Tümönbay Koldoshov. Among the guests were also the Chairman of the Union of Writers of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanybek Imanaliev, People's Artist Kyrgyzbay Osmonov, the General Director of the National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov, the Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers Janysh Kulmanbetov, and People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynbek Maksutov, highlighting the significance of the event in the cultural life of the country.

The play "Katkeldi," based on the works of Roza Aitmatova and Asan Akmatov, was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The project is directed by the Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Bolot Tentimishov and Associate Professor Sayragül Esenbaeva.
