The reasons for the entry ban to Russia have been named
Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, including Zhanar Akayev, Mirlan Samyikozho, and Cholpon Sultanbekova, have received a ban on entry to the Russian Federation. This became known through the Telegram channel "Neighbors - Central Asia".
The main factors leading to this decision were manifestations of Russophobia and legislative initiatives aimed at distorting historical facts. In particular, this concerns a bill regarding the recognition of participants in the Basmach movement, collaborators, and deserters from the Great Patriotic War as victims of political repression.
It is worth noting that this law was unanimously adopted by the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh a year ago. It speaks of the rehabilitation of citizens who suffered for their political and religious beliefs during the period from 1918 to 1953.
