The Central Election Commission (CEC) decided on November 4 not to register Suyunbek Burkanidinovich Kurvanbaev as a candidate for the Jogorku Kenesh deputy from district No. 3.
According to information provided by the CEC, Kurvanbaev does not meet the requirements established by the constitutional law "On the elections of the president and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh." The Border Service of the State National Security Committee reported that the candidate has spent a significant amount of time outside Kyrgyzstan in recent years.

In particular, it became known that Kurvanbaev was absent from the country from December 10, 2021, to January 2, 2023, which totals 387 days, as well as from January 28 to August 7, 2025—an additional 192 days. These facts indicate non-compliance with paragraph 4 of Article 59 of the constitutional law, which requires the candidate to have permanent residence in the country for the last 5 years.

Based on the conclusion of the working group and relying on Articles 59 (part 4) and 61 (part 11) of the constitutional law, the CEC denied Suyunbek Kurvanbaev registration as a candidate for the Jogorku Kenesh deputy from district No. 3.
