The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced on November 2 its decision to reject the registration of Abdivali uulu Damirbek, who nominated himself in the multi-mandate electoral district No. 12 for the elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh.
The application from Damirbek was submitted to the CEC on October 23, 2025. However, the working group established that he does not meet the requirements set by law for candidates and recommended denying his registration.

According to a certificate from the Border Service of the State National Security Committee (GKNB), issued on October 28, 2025, Damirbek does not meet the requirements of part 4 of article 59 of the constitutional law "On the Elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic." He must have permanently resided in the country for at least five years prior to his nomination as a deputy.

As explained by the CEC, from October 23, 2022, to October 23, 2023, Damirbek was outside Kyrgyzstan for 232 days. Moreover, from October 23, 2023, to October 23, 2024, his absence will amount to 242 days.
