District No. 17. Who will run for the Jogorku Kenesh under which number

The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums held a draw on November 8 to determine the order in which candidates for the position of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh will be presented on the ballot for all 30 constituencies.

In constituency No. 17, 19 applications were submitted, of which 15 candidates were successfully registered. This constituency includes the following territories: Besh-Tash, Kara-Kol, Ken-Kol, Shumkar-Uya, and Chon-Alysh rural municipalities of the Talas region, as well as the city of Kayindy and the municipalities of Kuramin, Kurpuldok, Frunze, and Orto-Kayindy of the Panfilov region. Additionally, the constituency includes the Jaily, Sary-Koos, Suusamyr, and Taldy-Bulak rural municipalities of the Jaily region, as well as the city of Kara-Balta.

The candidates who will be listed on the ballot have the following numbers:

6 — Ulukbek Uzakbaev

13 — Baktybek Choybekov

14 — Koysun Kurmanalieva.
Moreover, candidates were given the opportunity to use free airtime on state television channels and print space in state periodicals. Shortly after the draw, a memorandum was signed between the candidates.

The draw involved not only the candidates themselves but also authorized representatives of the registered candidates, as well as media representatives and public and international observers.
The early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh are scheduled for November 30, and the campaigning will start on November 10.
