Polling stations opened in 34 countries for early elections to the State Duma

In anticipation of the elections for the Jogorku Kenesh, which will take place on November 30, 100 polling stations have been opened abroad. This was reported on November 10 by Almazbek Baibosov, Deputy Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The stations are located in 34 countries and 89 cities around the world.

For comparison, 59 polling stations were organized during the previous elections, noted Baibosov.

The largest number of polling stations has been established in those countries where the highest number of Kyrgyz citizens reside:

- Russia — 40 stations;

- Turkey — 8;

- Kazakhstan — 7;

- USA — 6, of which two are in Chicago;

- Korea — 4;

- Italy — 3;

- Germany — 2;

- China — 2;

- Saudi Arabia — 2;

- United Arab Emirates — 2.

Additionally, one station has been opened in the following cities:

- Cairo

- Ashgabat

- Baku

- Brussels

- Budapest

- Vienna

- Doha

- Dushanbe

- Geneva

- Islamabad

- Kuala Lumpur

- London

- Minsk

- New Delhi

- Paris

- Tashkent

- Tehran

- Tokyo

- El Kuwait

- Ulaanbaatar

- Sofia

- Warsaw

- Prague

- Bratislava.

The complete list of polling station addresses can be found on the websites of the Central Election Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan have the opportunity to check their registration on the voter lists until November 19 on the portal tizme.gov.
