The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic has begun reviewing a complaint against Ilimbek Kubanychbekov, who is currently a sitting member of the Jogorku Kenesh and is seeking re-election.

On November 11, information was received by the Internal Affairs Department of the Kara-Suu District in the Osh Region that an election campaign banner had been illegally installed on the arch at the entrance to the village of Kenjekul. It was installed by Z. Mamataliyev, acting as an agitator for Kubanychbekov.

The working group recorded this fact, drawing up an act with the participation of the deputy head of the Ayil Okmotu of Ala-Tuu, as well as the head of the village of Kenjekul and a representative of the Kara-Suu District Department of Internal Affairs.

Now the case will be forwarded to experts on campaigning and members of the Central Election Commission for review.
