Turgunbaev Zhenishbek Jumadilovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the International Academy of Transport. Born in 1950.
In 1973, he graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute. He worked as an assistant, senior lecturer, dean, and vice-rector at the Kyrgyz Architectural and Construction Institute, Osh Technological University, and the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Razakov. Currently, he heads the Department of "Fundamentals of Machine Design" and leads the Research Institute of Physical and Technical Problems at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Razakov. He is a specialist in construction mechanization and road improvement. His research area includes the improvement of technological and transport machines for mountainous conditions.
He has been awarded the diploma "Best Young Innovator of the City of Moscow," the "Inventor of the USSR" badge, and the "Excellence in Education of the Kyrgyz Republic" badge. He is a co-director of the NATO project under the "Science for Peace" program in Kyrgyzstan. He underwent scientific training in the USA under the Fulbright program.
Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 10 candidate dissertations have been defended. He has published more than 180 scientific works and is the author of over 35 inventions, 7 monographs, and teaching aids.
