Mambetov Shergazy Asambaevich

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Full Member of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born in 1936. In 1959, he graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute.

Professor of the Department of Physical Processes in Mining at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.

Under his guidance, research has been developed in the field of creating a geodynamic model of deposits in high-altitude areas, methods for calculating the stress state of elements in preparatory and extraction workings, and methods for assessing and controlling the stability of rock masses near mining workings of various purposes.

Specialist in the field of geomechanics.

Awarded medals from the USSR and a certificate of honor from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.

Under his supervision, 5 candidate dissertations have been defended.

Published more than 100 scientific works, including 4 monographs and 4 textbooks, and is the author of 2 inventions.
