Lavrov Nikolai Petrovich

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Born in 1948. In 1971, he graduated from the Hydromelioration Faculty of the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute named after K.I. Skryabin.

Head of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.

Specialist in the field of hydraulics of supercritical flows in channels and river hydraulic structures.

Under his supervision, 5 candidate dissertations have been defended. He has published more than 140 scientific works, including a monograph, 3 textbooks (including in French), and is the author of 13 inventions of the USSR. He holds 1 patent in the Russian Federation and 12 patents in Kyrgyzstan.

Honored Educator (1998), Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic (2007), member of the Academy of Water Management Sciences of the Russian Federation (2007).
