Kyrgyzstan has entered the top ten largest importers of chocolate from Russia

Kyrgyzstan has secured a place among the top ten largest countries importing chocolate from Russia, according to data from the UN Comtrade platform.

As of the end of 2025, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan have emerged as leaders in importing Russian chocolate.

According to the Federal Center for the Development of Export of Agricultural Products "Agroexport," from January to September of this year, Kazakhstani companies purchased chocolate worth $192 million, while Belarus imported $123 million, and Uzbekistan over $68 million.

Azerbaijan and Armenia rank fourth and fifth among the largest importers, with purchases amounting to $48 million and $28.5 million, respectively. Kyrgyzstan holds the sixth position with $26.1 million, followed by Georgia ($19.5 million) and China ($14.4 million).

Also in the top 10 are Moldova, which imported chocolate worth $7.7 million, and Serbia with an indicator of $6.8 million.
