From November 1, 2025, to January 29, 2026, 159,132 citizens took advantage of the new self-ban mechanism on lending, which was introduced through the mobile application "Tündük," according to data published by the National Statistics Committee.
This initiative was launched to ensure the financial security of the population and protect personal data from potential fraudulent schemes.
To impose a self-ban on loans through the "Tündük" application, follow these steps:
• Install or open the "Tündük" application.
• Go to the "Services" section and select "Self-Ban on Loans."
• Choose a credit history bureau: "Isheni" or "SES."
• Click the "Enable Self-Ban" button and complete the process.
You can cancel the self-ban at any time; however, you will need to wait at least 12 hours before cancellation is possible. If you receive a message saying "Service temporarily unavailable," try updating the application and retrying.
