Against the backdrop of recent changes, the official exchange rate of the Chinese yuan has reached a new historical maximum. At the same time, the Russian ruble is also showing stable growth, updating record values for 2026. The euro has slightly strengthened, while the Kazakh tenge, on the contrary, has depreciated. The US dollar has remained at the same level. This data was presented by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange points.
US Dollar:
- Official exchange rate of the NB KR: 87.45 soms (no changes).
- Average exchange rate at exchange points: buying — 87.38 soms, selling — 87.8 soms.
Euro:
- Official exchange rate of the NB KR: 103.0992 soms (increase of 0.05 percent).
- Average exchange rate at exchange points: buying — 102.75 soms, selling — 103.72 soms.
Russian Ruble:
- Official exchange rate of the NB KR: 1.1438 soms (increase of 0.58 percent). This is the highest value of the ruble against the som since the beginning of 2026.
- Average exchange rate at exchange points: buying — 1.124 soms, selling — 1.154 soms.
Kazakh Tenge:
- Official exchange rate of the NB KR: 0.1749 soms (decrease of 0.68 percent).
- Average exchange rate at exchange points: buying — 0.1575 soms, selling — 0.1854 soms.
Chinese Yuan:
- Official exchange rate of the NB KR: 12.7357 soms (increase of 0.21 percent). This is already the second consecutive update of the historical maximum value.
- Average exchange rate at exchange points: buying — 12.4 soms, selling — 13 soms.
