According to a recent report from the National Statistical Committee, the economy of Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating steady growth at the beginning of 2026. In January and February, the gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 264.1 billion soms, which corresponds to a real growth of 108.8% compared to the same period last year.
All key sectors of the economy showed positive dynamics:
- The construction sector recorded a growth of 23.2%;
- The industrial sector increased by 14.7%;
- Services grew by 6.7%;
- Agriculture showed an increase of 2.6%.
In the structure of the gross domestic product, the share of manufacturing industries accounted for 31.1%, while the services sector occupied 49.9%.
