In the Kochkor district, hunters have begun actively culling predatory animals, as reported by hunting group member Marat Danilov.

According to Danilov, three jackals were caught in one day of hunting. With the onset of autumn, the number of predators has significantly increased, so hunting is being conducted regularly. Since the beginning of the autumn season, hunters in the district have already culled 11 jackals.

Among the hunters who have made their trophies, notable mentions include Argen Altynov with two jackals, Asylbek Duyshonbekov with one, Intymak Abdildaev with four, as well as Arstan Imashov, Arsen Azikbekov, Alisher Abykeev, and Marat Tentimishov, each of whom has taken one predator.

Hunters note that during the day, jackals hide in dense thickets of the forest, while at night they approach populated areas. In their search for these animals, they are assisted by special dogs — hounds.

The breed of dog known as "hound" (from the Russian word "гончая") is used for tracking and pursuing wild animals such as wolves, foxes, and hares.

Hounds possess a number of distinctive qualities:

- they have an excellent sense of smell, allowing them to find tracks even after several hours;

- they have a loud voice, which helps the hunter keep track of the chase;

- they are characterized by endurance and high speed, enabling them to pursue prey for long periods;

- they have a good sense of direction, which helps them navigate difficult terrain.
