In the land of French wine and cheese, the only polling station has opened. This was reported by the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to France, Sadik Sher-Niyaz, in an interview with the Kabar agency.
According to him, the station began its work taking into account the time difference. About 1,500 Kyrgyz citizens live in Paris, but voter activity is mainly observed in the capital. In the previous elections, approximately 80 people cast their votes, while this time it is expected that the number of participants will increase to 100.
It should be noted that 100 polling stations have been organized outside the country. As part of the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, 460 candidates, including 271 men and 189 women, will compete in 30 multi-mandate electoral districts.
The final list of voters includes 4,294,243 people.
