At polling station No. 3064, located in the Tyup district of the Issyk-Kul region, 90-year-old Tokon Sopuieva cast her vote on November 30. Her daughter-in-law, who accompanied her to the elections, noted that Tokon apa always actively participates in voting.
“From early in the morning, my mother-in-law started getting ready and asked me to take her to the polling station. Even despite her venerable age, she did not stay at home and came with a cane to fulfill her civic duty,” the local resident shared.

At the same polling station, two people took advantage of remote voting. One of them was a 39-year-old woman who was able to exercise her voting rights for the first time in 14 years.
“Because I was registered in Karakol, I hadn’t been able to participate in elections for 14 years. This year, there was an opportunity to vote remotely, and I voted for the first time in the Tyup district. It was very exciting,” M. Öskönbaeva shared her impressions.

The chairperson of the polling station, Gülshat Kalpakova, reported that there are 2,080 registered voters on the lists. She noted that compared to previous elections, residents showed greater activity.
