Kalzada turned 18 years old, and she came to polling station No. 3129 with her parents to vote.
“This is my first voting experience, and, you know, it’s very exciting. They explained to me in detail how everything works,” she shared her impressions.
The unusual name of the young voter became a topic of discussion among those present.
“This is the first time my daughter is voting. I came with her as her mother. She studies in Bishkek, will vote, and then return to her classes — classes start tomorrow. Many call her Khanzada, but her real name is Kalzada. I’ve never heard such a name before. When she was born, there was a belief in our family that we would have pigment spots. To stop this, we chose this name for her,” said the girl's father, Zhayloobai Soltonbekov.
At polling station No. 3129, 1,729 voters are registered.
